After we finished our lunch, we dropped Gareth off at the hotel and went up to Glenorchy to see the site where much of the Lord of the Rings was filmed. Here are some pictures from there. The scenery was beautiful.

Sara and Gareth surprised Jone and met up with us at the Peregrine Vineyard. Andy, Mary and Hal had been scheming for days. I guess Jone is pretty easy to surprise.

The Vineyards outside of Queenstown

On Day 6 (Sunday) we got up and went up to the bungy jumping bridge to watch people jump off. We saw two young men jump and it was incredible.
After that we went up the road to the Peregrine vineyard where we were going to tour and purchase some wine for dinner. As I (jone) was getting out of the car I looked up and saw Sara and Gareth. I couldn't believe it. They had driven over night from Nelson to meet us for Mother's Day. It was so much fun to see them. I was in shock. We weren't suppose to meet up with them until Tuesday.
We got into Queenstown at about 4pm. We went to the exercise room and worked out. Mary and Jone were going to go swimming, but after placing their foot in the water they discovered it was about 50 degrees. We walked into town, and had dinner at the H Britannia. Then we walked around town and took the bus back to the hotel.
