Hello Everyone!
So here's another update: We took the boat cruise and it was awesome! It took us on a shuttle boat, then by bus over this beautiful pass to the sound. Then we road to the headwaters of the Tasman sea where we saw about 50 fur seals sunning on the rocks. Then we got to go kayaking and swimming in the freezing water. The food was incredible and very plentiful and on the second day we went to this beautiful spot full of waterfalls. Our boat was surrounded by about 50 dolphins jumping and playing in our wake just as we approached the docks. Expensive, but totally worth every penny.
Then we did the Kepler Track, one of NZ's 'Great Walks'. The weather was mediocre and only one day was in the alpine. But it was still pretty cool. Tomorrow we are heading to the Milford Sound for a day or two and then inland to Queenstown and Wanaka. Gareth and I are hoping to find work in the next few weeks and then we will have a better idea about where we will be, but still planning on the south island. Love you guys and hope all is well. ~Sara
